Filey is a small seaside town between Scarborough and Bridlington, although it was once a small fishing village, it has a large beach and is now a very popular tourist resort. With some beautiful Edwardian architecture and an impressive 5 mile sandy beach for you and your family to enjoy, local shops selling local goods. Best of all Filey is close to Blue Dolphin.
Filey Beach - Filey has a glorious 5-mile stretch of golden sand stretches from the rocky peninsula of Filey Brigg to the north down to Bempton. At low tide a quarter-mile width of sand is exposed. Younger visitors will find plenty of good rock pools to explore along this stretch.
Filey Shops - shopping in Filey is a unique experience with local and independently run shops that abound. This makes it a great place to pick up handmade gifts and great local food.
Filey Open Air Pool - the paddling pool at Filey is right next to the beach so you can enjoy all the views and you can shelter from the wind as it has a small wall all the way around. and
