Robin Hood’s Bay Beach - is a great destination for amateur photographers, and to have some family fun. At high tide the beach is largely submerged by water, however at low tide an attractive, small, sandy beach with rocks and rock pools is revealed. At low tide the cliffs and rocks around the beach are popular with fossil hunters. Ammonites, belemnites and footprints from the Cretaceous and Jurassic.

Filey Bay Beach - runs from the Brigg at the northern end to the cliffs at Reighton. Close to the town of Filey where you will find toilets facilities, cafes and amusements. The beach is over quarter of a mile wide at low tide.

Scarborough Beach - next to the town of Scarborough, with all the amenities you would expect including shops, restaurants, amusement arcades, gift shops and more. A great day out at the seaside with the kids splashing about in the waves or just building sand castles. Donkey rides are available on the beach. A fine Victorian promenade runs along South Bay. The beach is popular with families and sometimes has good surfing conditions.

Reighton Beach - lies just to the north-west of the Flamborough Headland. A long, sandy beach, with expanses of flat sands that are exposed at low tide. A great place for the kids, rich in fossils and it may be possible to find washed-up specimens on and around the beach. The beach is popular for swimming as well as walking.

Bridlington South Beach - is a large sandy beach over 1 mile long. A great beach for family days out and great walks. In summer this beach can be very busy and has esy access to the sea front shops and restaurants.

Flamborough Beach - is a small picturesque beach flanked by stunning chalk cliffs. A natural cove on the north side of the Flamborough headland, about 7 miles south-east of Reighton. A mixture of sand and pebbles makes this beach great for families. Rockpools can be found at low tide great for young kids. The beach can be accessed from the reasonably-priced car park at the end of the B1255. Toilets and a café can be found here. The descent to the beach from the car park is quite steep and may be difficult for those with mobility problems.
