FULL : Tween and Teen Wheel Summer Clay Camp with Kim Sheerin: July 20-24

Description July 20 – 24 9:00 am – 12 noon Ages 10 and up Instructor: Kim Sheerin Working on the pottery wheel, we’ll create functional wares for use at home! Whether you are new to the wheel or have some experience we’ll keep developing your skills to push you to the next level! You might want to bring a snack and dress to be messy. If your child brings a snack to class, please make sure it is peanut-free.  Please do not send your child if they are feeling sick. Bring an apron or an old towel to protect your clothes. We sell sturdy aprons in red, black and tan at Falmouth Art Center for $28 if you need to purchase one. The clay artwork your child makes in this camp requires a few steps before it is ready to pick up, including two kiln firings. The work may take up to three weeks after the camp ends before it is ready to pick up.   Scholarship information: The Falmouth Art Center is very proud to have a scholarship fund supported by donations from members and friends.  It is available for both children and adults who have a great desire to create art.  Applications should be submitted to Laura Reckford, Executive Director of the Falmouth Art Center. Scholarship Information and Forms Refund policy: Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds. The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
